Plot
A race of aliens come to earth and take over human bodies. There are some humans that have not been taken over yet, and they are in hiding. A seeker finds a girl named Melanie and puts one of the aliens into her named Wanderer. Wanderer now controls Melanie's body.
Wanderer/Melaine go away from home in search of the humans that have not been taken over. She faints in the middle of nowhere and is found by the humans.
They bring her to where they live. When she is there, Melaine's mind remembers a couple of people. Some people don't want an "alien" there, because they are afraid of what she may bring, but some grow to like her.
The seeker goes in search of finding Wanderer and the humans, and the humans must protect themselves from The Host. Will they be found? Will they be taken over by Hosts?

Review
I read the book and got really attached to it, and wanted to see the movie. This movie is really interesting, it didn't really change that much from the book in the movie. The actors and actresses were really good. I didn't get bored at all. The ending was one of my favourite scenes. I did get confused between Wanderer and Melanie while reading the book, like who was talking but not so much in the movie.
Rating
I'm going to give The Host a 4 out of 5.
I hope you guys enjoyed another one of my movie reviews, sorry that this one was a little shorter than my usual ones. I'll write a round-up of movie news and a review next week!
